 Mobile Shelving Systems provide high density limited access storage. Mobile shelving with its one Moving Aisle saves valuable floor space. Depending on the application, mobiles can be moved using the following means: Hand operated, Mechanically assisted and Power operated.
The Concept
Instead of static shelving with a number of space wasting aisles, we mount the shelving bays on mobiles, sit them on tracks and only use the one 'moving' aisle. So simple and cost effective when you consider the rental costs per square metre. The system of storage is high density and low access.
  Hand Operated
Perfect for archives, retail back of store, office and warehouse. Uses industrial shelving mounted on mobile bases running on steel tracks that are firmly fixed to the floor & levelled accurately for added safety. This is a low cost storage system which is available in up to 3 x 900 wide bays - carries up to 2 tonne per mobile.
Mechanically Assisted
Similar to hand operated system in design and uses the same shelving. However, the mechanically assisted (winding handle, steering wheel ortri-spoke) consoles allow movement of mobiles up to 12 tonnes. Mobiles up to 6300mm wide are available.
Power Operated
Very high density storage for large archives. Libraries, Museums etc. OH & S friendly - moves up to 84 tonnes per mobile at the press of a button. Built in safety devices stop mobiles rolling in emergency.
